The Pepper Festival & Hot Sauce Expo
is coming to Franklin, PA!
The initial idea for The Pepper Festival & Hot Sauce Expo was to create a fun, family-friendly festival with incredible live music, amazing food and entertainment while raising much needed awareness and funds for local children’s charities in the Greater Sacramento region. Eventually, we wanted to take it to other places. Eventually happened faster than we expected and we’re thrilled!
Two weeks after The Pepper Festival in the Northern California town of Auburn has it’s festival on Saturday, September 14, 2019, the East Coast (okay, not exactly on the actual coast, but closer to the East Coast than California!) will host its first Pepper Festival in the Western Pennsylvania town of Franklin, which is well-known for its great events – heck, the City of Franklin’s motto is “Always Eventful”! – on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department facility in Franklin.
As with the original festival in Auburn, CA, the Franklin, PA festival will feature amazing Live Bands throughout the day, Food Trucks & Beverage Vendors – many featuring hot and mild pepper foods, incredible Merchandise Vendors, a Hot Pepper Eating Contest, Entertainment, Pepper Produce and much more. The Pepper Festival @ Franklin, PA – just like it’s counterpart in Auburn, CA – will be raising awareness and much-needed funds to local children’s charities (to be announced soon). Keep an eye on our social media pages and on our web site for details as they are set.
That’s a great question. The quick answer is that Franklin is known for it’s great festivals and its location is ideal to reach many large markets filled with hot sauce, food and live music lovers.
Franklin hosts long-time popular events like Applefest, an historic 4th of July Celebration, Blues & BBQ, Rock in River Festival and we are SUPER excited to add The Pepper Festival & Hot Sauce Expo to that list of great events in Franklin, PA!
